What this project is and what it isn't.

Why now, why here?

And it’s finally here. This personal website is something that’s been on my mind for a while, and it’s now tangible.

I’ve been longing for a place that’s mine, that I built, with the sole intent of sharing who I am - not just what I do.
There are plenty of things happening both on a personal and world level that I’m interested in, so I might as well share some of my thoughts.

What it isn’t

Before diving into what this is, I want to set up the guardrails and state what this really isn’t. You know; setting up expectations and all.

This is not somewhere where I’ll be posting content tuned for anyone’s feed (looking at you, LinkedIn). It’s not a personal brand either.

Nothing here will be written with the intent of being flattened into a job title.

What it is

The most honest answer here is that even I cannot tell what this will look like a year from now. It’ll be different, it’ll have been impacted by my keyboard’s keystrokes (I’m definitely not typing on mobile. Typing there is ok, but nothing beats the keyboard).

My intent is to write about things I find genuinely interesting. Could be things that I’m building, could be things I’ve failed to build, could be anything else. One thing it won’t have is corporate gloss.

There may be content related to several different things, spanning from AI to wine, with mandatory stops on topics such as being a dad, movies; whatever, really.

I’m giving myself permission to be irregular, to not do anything on schedule, to write about anything at all, so that’s the angle that you should be expecting when you look at this website.
